Julie Wagner lives in Charlotte NC with her husband and 8 children. Julie graduated from JMU with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications in 2000. She worked at Score! Educational Center in Baltimore coaching 1,000s of children in Math Reading and Writing and fueling their love of learning. Julie and her husband operated a sign franchise together for 5 years managing the marketing and operations of a digital printing sign shop.
Julie has been homeschooling her own children since 2007. She creatively embraces various teaching methods to give her 8 unique children the space to deepen their strengths and passions. Julie teaches and coaches other homeschoolers beginning their path in this unique journey. Julie has an infectious passion for sharing the freedom and possibilities of the homeschooling path.
Over her 14 years of homeschooling, she has led countless homeschool community and church events to connect families over their shared educational goals with community classes in, storytelling, readers theater, poetry slams, and more!
In the Fall of 2021, she launched Celebrate Story!, a podcast where she shares funny and thought-provoking stories from her life trying and failing at raising and educating 8 children. Julie is passionately curious, an enthusiastic empathic friend to all who meet her, and has a special obsession with microphones to give birth to the stories inside of her to connect to her community!
